Carbon Freeze Me at Star Wars Weekends

Carbon Freeze Me

While Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios may be ending its 2012 edition on June 10, you can still capture a little of the galactic fun at the park through June 16 with the “Carbon-Freeze Me” merchandise experience.

Guests have been raving about the brand-new freezing chamber so much so that Disney Parks Blog author Gary asked Ashley Eckstein, one of the celebrity hosts of Star Wars Weekends (and voice of Ahsoka Tano from the animated TV series Star Wars: The Clone Wars), to experience it for herself.

Using cutting-edge technology, guests can have a detailed, 3-D scan of their face placed into a miniature figure of carbonite. The process takes a few minutes and the finished piece will be shipped to your home in 2-4 weeks.

Each carbonite figurine is $99.95 (plus shipping). You can order additional figurines using the same image scan for $74.95 each.

Take a look at some of the frozen fun in this short video, and forward to any Star Wars fans you think would like to be cast in carbonite like Han Solo.

To make advance reservations for Carbon-Freeze Me, call 407-WDW-TECH (407-939-8324). Walk-ins can be accommodated based on availability.

Send us a picture if you got “frozen”!
