Searching for Fun Outside the Parks – Spending Time At Your Resort Pool

Where in Disney World can you find things to do OUTSIDE the parks?

Walt Disney World has dozens of activities and things to do at the resorts, Downtown Disney, and other areas. On each trip we try to schedule at least a partial day not going to a park.

Staying on property at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel comes with lots of perks and special benefits. Some are widely known, while others are like hidden gems that you can discover during your stay.

One of our favorite things to do outside the parks is spending time at our Resort Pool.

Whether you want to dive into some poolside gaming fun, get moving at an impromptu dance party or want to enjoy a movie under-the-stars, it seems there is a little something for everyone.

In addition to incredibly themed pools, many with water slide, the Disney World Resort pools offer a wide variety of activities including:
