Want to Try and Catch Nemo? WDW Fishing Excursions

When you think of Walt Disney World Resort you perhaps don’t think of big-time bass fishing.

Here are some basics you and your interested online friends should know about the catch and release fishing experiences offered at Walt Disney World Resort:

- Three experiences are offered

  •  Disney Guided Fishing Excursion – Guests are hosted by a Disney cast member on a 2 hour guided excursion aboard a BASS or Pontoon boat (up to 5 Guests)
  • BASS Nitro Fishing Excursion – Guests fish in a tournament style Nitro Bass Boat that seats 1-2 guests, plus a fishing guide
  • Cane Pole Fishing – On-site fishing experience offered at specific Disney resorts (Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and the Fishin’ Hole at Port Orleans Riverside)

- Experiences are available seven days a week and offer pick-up times of  7 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. *based on availability

- Guests of all ages are welcome but those younger than 17 must be accompanied by an adult

- Included in the experience are:

  • Fishing equipment
  • Rod
  • Reel
  • Artificial Bait
  • Shiners
  • Beverage Refreshments
  • A voucher for a free Bass Membership which includes 11 issues of Bass Magazine

Guests can book their fishing excursion online, by calling (407) 936-BASS or on-site at the resort front desk and recreation area.
