Splitsville Almost Ready to ‘Roll In and Rock Out’ at Walt Disney World Resort

By admin on January 3rd, 2013

The Downtown Disney area at Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite weekend hangouts. I love eating at the restaurants, seeing the latest films at AMC Downtown Disney 24 (especially in one of the Fork & Screen Dine-In Theatres), having some high-tech gaming fun at DisneyQuest and shopping at Downtown Disney Marketplace. And soon, I’ll be able to add bowling to my list of favorite Downtown Disney activities. One of the country’s most popular family experiences, bowling, comes to Downtown Disney West Side with the Grand Opening of Splitsville Luxury Lanes. Splitsville is a 50,000-square-foot bowling and fine dining complex constructed in the former Virgin Megastore location. Darrell Fry from the Disney Parks Blog gives us an inside look at the project and what we can expect on opening day.
