Oswald Merchandise Coming to Disney Parks

Being a fan of Walt Disney Company history, I find it wonderful to see so many new items featuring this classic character. Here is a quick look at some of the Oswald merchandise. Celebrate Oktoberfest at Epcot

octoberfest-epcotMunich’s Oktoberfest, the 16-day traditional German festival, officially kicks off for 2012 on September 22, but in the Germany Pavilion at Epcot, guests celebrate with a crackerjack quartet every week of the year. The Oktoberfest Musikanten (German for “Oktoberfest Musicians”) plays polkas and waltzes inside the Epcot Germany Pavilion while lunch and dinner guests at the Biergarten Restaurant enjoy bratwurst, sauerkraut, pork schnitzel and spaetzle. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is open for business!

Art of Animation On May 31, Meg Crofton, president of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Operations, U.S. & France, officially dedicated this new resort while surrounded by a cast of colorful characters from the films that inspired the resort’s animation theme. Starting at Animation Hall, the resort’s lobby boasts decor that reflects animation in various stages, from pencil sketch to final product. According to the Blog: This innovative queue area will completely redefine what it means for guests to prepare for a Disney attraction.
