swimming-wildernessloge-wdw2Where in Disney World can you find things to do OUTSIDE the parks? Staying on property at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel comes with lots of perks and special benefits. Some are widely known, while others are like hidden gems that you can discover during your stay. One of our favorite things to do outside the parks is spending time at our Resort Pool. Whether ...

Favorite Snacks in the Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World PopcornThere are so many snacks to eat and enjoy while visiting Walt Disney World.  One of the most memorable snacks is the popcorn on Main Street USA.  When you get the first whiff of the fluffy goodness, you can't help but to run over to the nearest cart to buy a treat!  Of course, you can buy as little or as much popcorn as you like. But can you ever have too much popcorn?  I don't think so!  The popcorn on Main Street is simply better than any other in the world!  It has the right amount of salt to corn ratio.  This coupled with the buttery aroma is enough to send me into a feeding frenzy!  And of course you ...

Tips for Fireworks Photography

Disney World Fireworks Photography Tips Photographing fireworks at Disney World is one of the things that I look forward to most on our WDW trips.  The fireworks displays are really magical and trying to capture the feeling and emotion of those shows is challenging but so much fun! Here are a few tips for your next trip to WDW. You MUST have a tripod!  Get a locker first thing in the morning and store it, then come back for it before the show.  But you have to use a tripod to get fireworks photos. Disney Releases New iPhone App – Mobile Magic

Walt Disney World Mobile Magic AppFinally Disney has given the same features found on Verizon phones to iPhones!  Unfortunately they are still saving some features to Verizon only customers. Be aware that some features are only available when you are in the parks.  We like to use some wait time apps to see what the wait time is on our favorite attractions while we are at home dreaming of the new WDW trip.  In Disney's app you can't see that type of information unless the GPS detects you are in the Magic Kingdom! If you haven’t tried the app out yet, you should. It offers accurate wait times as well as official Disney FASTPASS return times and availability for the park you’re in. The same ...
